Positive treatment: ensuring everyone’s rights

The “Positive treatment: ensuring everyone’s rights” programme is designed for use in educational contexts. It provides resources for fostering ethics based on rights and responsibilities and promoting non-violent communication strategies. It is divided into three content blocks which conclude with a list of ten basic guidelines for ensuring positive treatment, proposed by the students themselves.

The programme has been set in motion thanks to the cooperation and enthusiasm of the teachers working at public and semi-private (i.e. private but with some state funding) schools in the Basque Autonomous Region. The materials provided in the programme are designed as a basic package from which teachers can select what they need and create new activities specially adapted to specific contexts and situations.
